History

Prodinity is derived from the Latin word for wisdom ‘prudentia’ and the Norse god of wisdom ‘Odin’ and encapsulates our ability to create insight for our clients.

Previously operating as BIOLAP in the United Kingdom, we took the opportunity of the establishment of our new development unit in Krakow, Poland in 2021 to rename and rebrand the group as Prodinity.

Prodinity has over 15 years’ experience in creating customised Business Insight Solutions for our clients in the Insurance, Legal and other industry sectors. Here are some highlights:

Year 2006

Soon after the formation of the company in 2006, BIOLAP was engaged by Tysers to design and implement a data warehouse solution for its insurance and accounting systems. Soon after BIOLAP was also engaged by Arthur J Gallagher to design, implement and roll out a data warehouse solution for their UK operation.

Year 2009

BIOLAP engaged by the Maitland Group to design and implement a global budgeting and forecasting system.

Year 2011

BIOLAP engaged by global law firm DLA Piper to design and implement a system to enable the firm to produce daily consolidated accounting information for the global firm.

Year 2012

BIOLAP started what turned into a 6-year collaboration with Aon that involved setting up a turn-key Insight Centre for Aon in Krakow, Poland and integrating data from the EMEA and North America regions into a combined data warehouse.

Year 2018

BIOLAP engaged by the RFIB Group to design and build a data warehouse for its insurance systems and in 2020 Tysers re-engaged BIOLAP to upgrade their data warehouse to BIOLAP's latest solution design.

Year 2021

BIOLAP rebrands as Prodinity and establishes a development centre in Krakow, Poland.
